| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: Creative, Practical and Outgoing. The three careers that match my style are: Photographer, News Reporter and Architects.From this information I have decided to explore becoming a Photographer. I selected this job because I enjoy traveling and taking pictures. One of my daily activities as a Photographer would be to make artificial light using flashes and reflectors. I also have to test my equipment before use to make sure it will work. In addition, I have to load and unload film. To work as a photographer, I need to have a certificate to take pictures. I must be good at speaking to people of all ages and determining the best equipment used in order to become a well trained photographer. In the United States, the average salary for a photographer is $35,640 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $41,338. In the United States by the year 2016, employment for a photographer is expected to increase by 10.3%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016, it is expected to increase by 17.1%. I am looking forward to becoming a photographer in the future. |
